The Grand Egyptian Museum

On Thursday Jan. 8: After breakfast at the Sofitel, guests will leave for a guided tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). After the GEM tour, we will also complete a guided BUS tour of Cairo - emphasizing major attractions in the city. Lunch is included. At the end of the guided tours, guests will return to the hotel.
Dinner: Not included in vacation package. Guests make dinner decisions individually.
The Giza Pyramid Complex

On Friday Jan. 9: After breakfast at the Sofitel, guests will leave for a guided tour of The Giza Pyramid Complex (Pyramids). The Pyramids experience may last up to 5-6 hours (including travel time). In addition to the guided tour of the Giza, other activities may include camel rides, All-terrain vehicles (ATVs) rides, and others. Lunch is included in te vacation package. At the end of the Giza experience, guests will return to the hotel.
Dinner: There will be a dinner reception at the Sofitel Hotel.
Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride

On Sunday Jan. 11: Very early in the morning (around 5am), guests will leave hotel before breakfast for the sunrise hot air balloon ride. the entire experience (including travel time) may take up to 3 hours. Guests eat breakfast after returning from the hot air balloon ride.
NOTE:The hot air ballon experience is not included in the vacation package. It’s an optional activity that’s estimated at US$125 per person. Cost includes hotel pick up/return and the ballon ride fees.
Tour of The Valley of The Kings

On Sunday Jan 11: Continuing with Luxor attractions visit. After breakfast, guests will leave for a guided tour of the city of Luxor. Places to visit include: Luxor pharaonic tour ( Karnak Temple & Luxor Temple ,West Bank and King Valleys Hathepsut Temple, Memnon Temple ). Guests will return to Sonesta hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Dinner: Included in the vacation package.
